The Building-Block Approach
By stacking WireCrafters wire partition panels one on top of the other, you can create a partition system of almost any height. And when exact dimensions are required, SafeRack also supplies a sheet metal adjustable panel. These same stock wire partition panels can also be used for ceiling panels. And because of the system’s innovative design, tool cribs, maintenance cages, and secure inventory storage areas can have clear span ceilings up to 30′ wide.
Along with the wire partition panels and posts, we also offer a variety of door options, including slide-to-the-side doors from 3′ to 10′ wide and hinge doors (either 3′ or 4′ wide).
Many Applications for Wire Partitions
Wire partitions are often used in manufacturing and warehouse facilities for tool cribs, maintenance equipment cages and general storage areas. The wire partitions from WireCrafters are also ideal for the following applications:
Free-standing, multi-use storage cages and enclosures on facility floors
Secure enclosures for inventory control where open access to products may be a problem
Machine guarding and robotic work cells where safety is a major concern
As a safety product, the partition panels are bolted to the back of pallet racks to protect personnel from potential falling objects
Features
Twenty standard sized panels 4′-0″ or 5′-0″ high by 1′-0″ to 10′-0″ wide.
Stack two or more panels between posts to reach wall height.
Standard size panels work in ceilings and walls.
Custom size panels and special heights available.
Hinged, double hinged, sliding, and vertical rise doors available.
Sliding doors have patented tamper resistant latch mechanism.
Assembly hardware is inaccessible from the secured side of the partition.
Standard 3/8″ mounting hardware is the heaviest in the industry.
Heavy duty options available.
Panels may be ordered with any mesh, expanded metal, sheet metal, or clear polycarbonate.
With WireCrafters building-block approach, you can create long runs of partitions of over 30′ in height while still utilizing stock panels.
Configurations for Every Application
Standard configurations of WireCrafters wire partitions are typically two-, three-, or four-sided partitions with an entry door to the caged area. These basic wire mesh cages are kept in stock for quick 48 hour shipping. Larger stock cages are also available with sliding doors up to 10′ wide. Custom wire partition configurations are also available. Full height partitions over 30′ tall and clear span ceilings up to 30′ wide can be constructed with the WireCrafters partition system. Our experienced engineering department can take your specific requirements and prepare a detailed CAD drawing after ordering for virtually any custom design.
The Best Woven Wire Panels On the Market
Style 840 woven wire mesh partition panels are constructed of 10-gauge wire that’s woven into a 2″ x 1″ rectangular mesh design. The wire mesh is then welded into a 1 1/4″ x 1 1/4″ x 1/8″ hot-rolled angle and, if the size of the panels dictates, WireCrafters will weld a flat stiffener bar to the mesh and angle frame. The panels are welded directly to a 2″ square, 14-gauge steel tube post with 3/8″ hardware, which is the strongest in the industry. The posts have a welded base plate and, in addition, floor anchors are provided to ensure a strong rigid partition system. WireCrafters designs this wire partition system with all of the hardware on the inside of the cage, which further enhances security.
Rapidwire™ Welded Wire Panels
SafeRack also offers the 840 Style Partitions in a welded mesh. RapidWire™ is a welded wire mesh made of ten-gauge wire in a 2″ square pattern. This welded mesh can be substituted for the standard Style 840 woven wire mesh. RapidWire’s angle frame is a 1 1/4″ x 1 1/4″ 13-gauge rolled form angle. The posts, made of two-inch square tubing, are the same as our traditional Style 840 partitions.
Almost any application we offer in our traditional woven wire mesh can also be constructed using this welded wire mesh. Both the 840 Style woven wire and the RapidWire™ welded wire provide a very strong and secure wire partition, and both systems offer a full line of hinged and sliding doors. RapidWire™ welded mesh lends itself to easy modifications in the field when installing and making cutouts. With every wire welded to another, the mesh stays in place as you make cuts to go around obstructions. Our RackBack® Safety Panels as well as our Tenant Storage Lockers are currently manufactured with RapidWire™ 2″ square 10-gauge welded mesh.
Beyond the Standard
SafeRack has a wide array of options for the basic wire partition cage. Along with our standard hinged and sliding doors, we can supply vertical rise doors, motorized sliding doors, and dutch and double-hinged doors. These doors can be equipped with a basic key lock or, for more security, we also offer keypad locks, card readers, fingerprint scanners and even emergency exit push bars. Plus, SafeRack stocks eight different powder coat colors in-house, and can also match any color with a paint chip or RAL number.

Increased safety is the primary benefit.
Increased safety is the primary benefit. We had a gangway that was functioning, just did not provide the level of safety that I believe this rack will.
